Over the years, I have done many annual reports for university leadership. For a freelance opportunity, I was hired to create an annual report for the Humane Society of Genesee County. It was their first true annual report as a local non-profit, and I reduced my fee for the chance to help this important community resource. Working with a professional writer, we gathered specific images to help tell the stories of the animals, the volunteers, the staff, and the benefactors who work tirelessly to help pets find new homes. The color palette I picked for this was warm and inviting and helped to enhance the stories and information within the piece. This specific annual report won an Addy Award for design in 2018.
