This is a departure from the current publications. I used bold colors, high-end photography, font selection that is accessible to people of varying abilities. I look at graphic design as elevating the stories of our people that show angles sides that people don’t always see—the power of origami to impact aerodynamics and towing how the folding of paper in the image is the secret. Or how whimsical puppets designed by a student shows how their creativity tells a story of identify that many of our people can identify with. I use design to elevate the stories, rather than obscure it, and Stamps, a leading art and design school should strive to have a more sophisticated approach than we currently have.
