When the Pre-College team asked for a new theme and design, I embraced the opportunity to use new photography from Stamps to engage potential students and their families into considering this signature Stamps program. After brainstorming several potential taglines for the promotion, “Dare to Create” was chosen. Knowing that much of the campaign would be digital, there is a brief opportunity to capture the attention of people of various demographics who are browsing websites and social media. For that reason, I chose to go with traditional maize and blue to communicate the prestige of the Michigan brand to potential students and their parents, along with cheerful images of students being creative at Stamps. The campaign was also used on postcards that were sent to interested students. As a result, Pre-College continued its strong trajectory of enrollment growth.
